CVE-2026-43914

Description

A flaw was found in Vaultwarden, a Bitwarden-compatible server. A remote attacker can exploit an unprotected two-factor authentication (2FA) function, send_email_login, to bypass login brute-force protection. This allows the attacker to repeatedly attempt password guesses without rate-limiting, potentially leading to unauthorized access to user accounts, even for users who do not have email 2FA configured.
