CVE-2026-43193
Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's Network File System Daemon (nfsd). A reference count leak in the nfsd_get_dir_deleg() function can lead to resource exhaustion. This vulnerability, if repeatedly triggered, may allow an attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by consuming available system resources.

Red Hat acknowledges the upstream Linux kernel correction for «nfsd» as described in COMMENT_ZERO. Fixes are delivered through standard kernel errata for supported products. Operational exposure depends on whether this subsystem or driver is active in your configuration.
