CVE-2026-41717

Description

A flaw was found in Spring Data MongoDB. A remote attacker can exploit a SpEL (Spring Expression Language) expression injection vulnerability. This issue arises during parameter binding when a user-defined repository query method is annotated with @Query and uses a capture-all placeholder. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code, potentially leading to full control of the affected system.

Statement

The vulnerability in Spring Data MongoDB is rated as Important. However, Red Hat products, including Red Hat JBoss Fuse, are not affected by this flaw as the vulnerable code is not present in these offerings.
