CVE-2026-23404
Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's AppArmor security module. A local user could trigger a denial of service by initiating a recursive profile removal operation with deeply nested profiles. This recursive process can lead to kernel stack exhaustion, causing the system to crash.

When allocating resources without limits, an attacker could prevent other systems, applications, or processes from accessing the same type of resource. It can be easy for an attacker to consume many resources by rapidly making many requests or causing larger resources to be used than is needed.
