CVE-2026-19873
Description
A flaw was found in HTML::FormFu for Perl. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending a specially crafted request with an unbounded repeat count to a Repeatable element. The application's process method reads the repeat count from the query string, leading to deep-cloning of the element's child subtree multiple times. This excessive cloning can exhaust memory and CPU resources, making the application unresponsive.

Understanding the Weakness (CWE)
Availability
Technical Impact: DoS: Resource Consumption (CPU); DoS: Resource Consumption (Memory); DoS: Resource Consumption (Other); Reduce Performance
This issue can make the product perform more slowly. If an attacker can influence the number of iterations in the loop, then this performance problem might allow a denial of service by consuming more platform resources than intended.
