CVE-2026-12770

Description

A flaw was found in BerriAI litellm. A remote attacker could exploit an improper authorization vulnerability within the Admin Key Handler component. This could allow the attacker to perform unauthorized actions, leading to limited impacts on data integrity and service availability.

Statement

Red Hat products that include litellm as a dependency use it as a library for LLM API routing and do not expose the litellm proxy server's admin key management endpoints (/key/block, /key/unblock). The vulnerable code path in the Admin Key Handler component is not reachable in the way litellm is deployed within Red Hat products. Additionally, all shipped versions (1.75.8 and later) are above the affected version range (<= 1.63.1).

Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) Score Details

Info alert:Important note

CVSS scores for open source components depend on vendor-specific factors (e.g. version or build chain). Therefore, Red Hat's score and impact rating can be different from NVD and other vendors. Red Hat remains the authoritative CVE Naming Authority (CNA) source for its products and services (see Red Hat classifications).

The following CVSS metrics and score provided are preliminary and subject to review.
