CVE-2026-111757

Description

A flaw was found in Hono's serveStatic middleware. This vulnerability allows a remote attacker to cause unauthorized information disclosure by bypassing path-based access controls. Because serveStatic decodes request paths a second time before performing filesystem lookups, a specially crafted request with malformed percent encoding can bypass upstream security middleware. As a result, an attacker can access protected static files within the configured document root.

Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) Score Details

Info alert:Important note

CVSS scores for open source components depend on vendor-specific factors (e.g. version or build chain). Therefore, Red Hat's score and impact rating can be different from NVD and other vendors. Red Hat remains the authoritative CVE Naming Authority (CNA) source for its products and services (see Red Hat classifications).
