CVE-2026-111126
Description
A flaw was found in catdoc. An out-of-bounds read vulnerability exists in the spreadsheet parsing logic of the xls2csv utility. By convincing a user to process a specially crafted Excel file, an attacker could trigger memory reads beyond the allocated buffer boundaries. This issue primarily leads to an application crash, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS), and may also allow the disclosure of adjacent memory data.
