CVE-2026-109403
Description
A flaw was found in conductor. A remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability by supplying a manipulated agentUrl parameter to the agent card fetching service, resulting in Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF). This flaw allows the server to make unauthorized network requests to unintended destinations, potentially exposing internal services and sensitive data.
Statement
This vulnerability is rated as an Important impact because an unauthenticated remote adversary can induce the application host to perform arbitrary network requests, potentially accessing sensitive internal metadata or unexposed private services. Red Hat Enterprise Linux does not include Conductor in default distributions, limiting exposure to environments that explicitly deploy the orchestration platform with the AI agent integration enabled. Because the attack vector requires invoking the agent card retrieval endpoint, systems operating in isolated network segments without external routing to these endpoints face minimal exploitation risk.
Understanding the Weakness (CWE)
Confidentiality
Technical Impact: Read Application Data
Integrity
Technical Impact: Execute Unauthorized Code or Commands
Access Control
Technical Impact: Bypass Protection Mechanism
By providing URLs to unexpected hosts or ports, attackers can make it appear that the server is sending the request, possibly bypassing access controls such as firewalls that prevent the attackers from accessing the URLs directly. The server can be used as a proxy to conduct port scanning of hosts in internal networks, use other URLs such as that can access documents on the system (using file://), or use other protocols such as gopher:// or tftp://, which may provide greater control over the contents of requests.
