CVE-2026-107373
Description
A flaw was found in perl-extutils-typemaps-default. When converting Perl values to C++ strings in the T_STD_STRING typemap, the length of an argument may be evaluated before string conversion occurs due to unspecified argument evaluation order. An attacker who supplies non-string input, such as a number or reference, can trigger an out-of-bounds read. This issue causes the application to terminate unexpectedly, resulting in a Denial of Service (DoS).
