CVE-2026-101724

Description

A flaw was found in the InnoDB component of MySQL. This issue may allow an attacker to impact the confidentiality, integrity, and/or availability of MySQL Server depending on the vulnerability details. Refer to the Oracle CPU advisory for component-specific impact.

Statement

This vulnerability is rated as Moderate impact for Red Hat Enterprise Linux because exploitation requires an attacker to possess high administrative privileges on the database server. An authenticated user with sufficient permissions could cause the MySQL service to hang or crash, resulting in a denial of service, but confidentiality and integrity are not compromised. The risk is minimized in environments that enforce least privilege and restrict administrative access to trusted operators.

Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) Score Details

Info alert:Important note

CVSS scores for open source components depend on vendor-specific factors (e.g. version or build chain). Therefore, Red Hat's score and impact rating can be different from NVD and other vendors. Red Hat remains the authoritative CVE Naming Authority (CNA) source for its products and services (see Red Hat classifications).

The following CVSS metrics and score provided are preliminary and subject to review.
