CVE-2025-8746
Description
A buffer overflow flaw was found in libopts. The __strstr_sse2 function is susceptible to memory corruption due to manipulation of internal data structures. A local attacker can trigger this vulnerability. Exploitation occurs through crafted input, potentially leading to a denial of service.
