CVE-2025-38302
Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's block layer. An improper submission of bio (block input/output) operations in the blk_zone_wplug_bio_work function can lead to a deadlock. This occurs because the submit_bio_noacct_nocheck function duplicates work and interferes with queue freezing mechanisms. A local attacker could exploit this to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by triggering a system freeze.
