CVE-2025-32445

Description

A flaw was found in the argo-events package. A user with the permission to create/modify EventSource and Sensor custom resources can gain privileged access to the host system and cluster, even without having direct administrative privileges.

Statement

ODH Data Science Pipelines Argo Executor and Workflow Controller are not affected because this vulnerability pertains to ArgoEvents and ArgoEvent is not a component of the Argo ecosystem that is deployed/managed in Red Hat OpenShift AI.

We do not install the EventSource CRD (or anything from argo-events) project.
