CVE-2024-46754

Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's BPF (Berkeley Packet Filter) subsystem. This vulnerability allows BPF operations related to lwt_seg6local_prog_ops to be invoked via bpf_test_run() without proper initialization of a critical per-CPU variable. This could lead to a denial of service.

Mitigation for this issue is either not available or the currently available options do not meet the Red Hat Product Security criteria comprising ease of use and deployment, applicability to widespread installation base, or stability.
