CVE-2024-45017

Description

A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's net/mlx5 component. This vulnerability occurs when IPsec (Internet Protocol Security) is created over a slave device, but the master device does not support IPsec. An attacker could potentially trigger a kernel warning or crash, leading to a Denial of Service (DoS).
