CVE-2024-43855

Description

A denial of service vulnerability exists in the Linux kernel. A deadlock condition occurs when mddev is being suspended while some of the flush bio is in progress, leading to a loss of availability.

Mitigation for this issue is either not available or the currently available options don't meet the Red Hat Product Security criteria comprising ease of use and deployment, applicability to widespread installation base or stability.
