CVE-2024-42296
Description
A flaw was found in the f2fs module in the Linux kernel. The f2fs_convert_inline_inode function in the f2fs/inline.c file returns an incorrect status code when a device is read-only, causing a kernel panic, resulting in a denial of service.
Statement
The f2fs module is not built in the kernel shipped in Red Hat Enterprise Linux, so it is not affected by this vulnerability.
