CVE-2024-38667

Description

A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel, affecting the RISC-V architecture. This issue may corrupt pt_regs (processor status registers) for secondary idle threads, which could lead to undefined behavior or system instability. This issue has been addressed in a kernel update to prevent such corruption, ensuring stability and reliability in idle thread management on RISC-V systems.
