CVE-2024-27409
Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's dw-edma HDMA component. A race condition can occur when the doorbell register is toggled before the full write of a linked list, as the linked list element and pointer are not stored in the same memory as the HDMA controller register. This could lead to system instability or a denial of service (DoS) in a remote setup.
