CVE-2024-26621

Description

From CVE.org

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm: huge_memory: don't force huge page alignment on 32 bit commit efa7df3e3bb5 ("mm: align larger anonymous mappings on THP boundaries") caused two issues [1] [2] reported on 32 bit system or compat userspace. It doesn't make too much sense to force huge page alignment on 32 bit system due to the constrained virtual address space. Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) Score Details

Info alert:Important note

CVSS scores for open source components depend on vendor-specific factors (e.g. version or build chain). Therefore, Red Hat's score and impact rating can be different from NVD and other vendors. Red Hat remains the authoritative CVE Naming Authority (CNA) source for its products and services (see Red Hat classifications).

The following CVSS metrics and score provided are preliminary and subject to review.
