CVE-2024-21213

Description

A flaw was found in Oracle MySQL Server (InnoDB component). A high-privileged local attacker with logon access to the MySQL Server infrastructure can cause a denial of service (DoS) of MySQL Server. This vulnerability requires user interaction.

Statement

Red Hat ships MySQL Server in Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This vulnerability has been addressed through regular MySQL release updates.

Mitigation

Restrict network access to the MySQL Server to trusted clients only.
