CVE-2023-53339
Description
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. A local user could exploit a race condition within the btrfs filesystem's balance cancellation mechanism. This flaw occurs when a balance operation is simultaneously paused and canceled. Successful exploitation leads to a kernel panic, causing a Denial of Service (DoS) on the system.
