In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: octeontx2-vf: Add missing free for alloc_percpu Add the free_percpu for the allocated "vf->hw.lmt_info" in order to avoid memory leak, same as the "pf->hw.lmt_info" in `drivers/net/ethernet/marvell/octeontx2/nic/otx2_pf.c`.
Statement
A memory leak was fixed in the Marvell OcteonTX2 VF network driver, where the vf->hw.lmt_info object allocated with alloc_percpu() was not properly freed in some error and removal paths. The issue can only be triggered by a privileged local user with the ability to repeatedly probe and remove virtual PCI devices. It only leads to memory leaks.
