Statement

The issue in tun driver was evaluated by the kernel community and explicitly rejected as a CVE candidate, as it does not cross any security boundaries. It results only in a WARN/OOPS condition with no privilege escalation, memory corruption, or information leak, and requires CAP_NET_ADMIN to trigger.
