CVE-2022-49052

Description

A denial of service vulnerability exists in the Linux kernel where two or more processes are shared using the CLONE_VM feature. This allows one process to see memory that has been deleted, effectively causing it to be corrupted by unexpected zeroed pages.

Mitigation

Mitigation for this issue is either not available or the currently available options don't meet the Red Hat Product Security criteria comprising ease of use and deployment, applicability to widespread installation base or stability.
