Description
Using rcu-safe version of ipv6_get_lladdr() with removed external locks may lead to the loss of Availability.
Statement
A flaw in the Linux kernel's IPv6 multicast handling can lead to a system crash due to an unsafe function call. This issue requires specific IPv6 multicast network traffic to trigger, limiting its immediate widespread impact in typical Red Hat Enterprise Linux deployments.
