CVE-2020-1744
Description
A flaw was found in keycloak. BruteForceProtector does not handle Conditional OTP Authentication Flow login failure events due to these events not being sent to the brute force protection event queue. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.

This flaw attacks a standard user login in the IDP flow, which means that a successful attack would result in compromise of only one account of many being managed in the system. This reflects impact metrics of C/I/A:L, not C/I/A:H. Also the bypass of brute force protections in the flow can still require significantly large time to achieve, which is better represented by AC:H than AC:L. The resulting score and impact are 5.6/Moderate.
