Since launching the Red Hat Customer Portal in 2010, we continue to improve the relationship with our customers and to better support our solutions and services. We continually make enhancements across the Portal to ensure the best possible experience for our customers. We’re proud that our efforts continue to be recognized.

Association of Support Professionals Award Winner
The Customer Portal has been recognized for 15 consecutive years by The Association of Support Professionals (ASP). Red Hat Customer Portal awards include “Best Contribution to Moving the Industry Forward” and being named among “The Ten Best Web Support Sites.”
2025 Areas of Focus
The ASP, a global organization for customer support professionals, evaluated submissions across 22 different criteria. Our winning entry highlighted several key innovations that continue to evolve our support capabilities:
Ask Red Hat
A new, conversational, AI-based generative search experience. Ask Red Hat searches over 1.5M pieces of content generated by Red Hat and provides summarization and links so that users can self-solve their problems or contact Red Hat.

The Red Hat Offline Knowledge Portal is a self-contained instance of Red Hat’s extensive knowledge content, enabling air-gapped, secure, and disconnected teams to proactively troubleshoot issues and maintain compliance without relying on external network access.
Product Compliance Experience
Customers can now determine whether Red Hat products meet their organization’s compliance standards, streamlining their decision-making process by visiting one page.
Special Award for Offline Innovation
In addition to the main award, Red Hat also received a special award for "Excellence in Extending Support to Offline Environments" for its Red Hat Offline Knowledge Portal. This unique recognition highlights the value and capabilities of Red Hat Offline Knowledge Portal, a solution designed to bring Red Hat's expert knowledge and support documentation to customers in disconnected or air-gapped environments.
The Red Hat Offline Knowledge Portal is a secure, self-contained instance of Red Hat’s extensive knowledge content, enabling teams to proactively troubleshoot issues and maintain compliance without relying on external network access. This "pocket library" of knowledge can be deployed on-premise or on customer workstations and periodically updated when a connection is available, allowing users to access critical information and maintain their systems without needing an internet connection.
The ASP, a global membership organization for customer support professionals, gave out only two special awards this year. The accolade recognizes Red Hat Offline Knowledge Portal as a revolutionary product that solves a critical challenge for customers operating in a variety of industries, from military and government to remote operations and secure on-premise data centers, where internet connectivity is limited or prohibited. Red Hat Offline Knowledge Portal ensures that these customers have immediate, local access to the latest security updates, technical articles, and comprehensive product documentation.
