Get Started with Red Hat Virtualization 3.6
For a basic x86_64 installation, you'll need:
install RED HAT ENTERPRISE virtualization 3.6
Using YUM, download and install the RHEV-Manager packages:
# yum update; yum install rhevm
Run the configuration script to install the manager:
Install hypervisors and configure the system:
- Boot from the RHEV-H ISO image media and install the operating system (this media can be used to add additional hypervisor hosts later).
- Configure datacenters, storage, clusters, networking, and hosts. Read more at Administering RHEV resources .
- Attach an ISO domain and upload ISO images. See Creating an NFS Storage Domain and Populating the ISO Storage Domain for full details.
Deploy and use virtual machines:
- Connect through a web browser to the Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization Manager portal using the URL specified during configuration.
