Synching multiple servers

We are running RHEL 5.6 on 3 servers. Occasionally, they will go out of sync which is visible on the facility manager (gui). Does anyone know how to get them back in sync using the command line or GUI without doing a pkill X or reset? Does anyone know what program (file) is being used to keep them in synch & what log is used to review the error?
