  • block devices past sdzzz

Apparently i'm walking into a delimea. I have a little storage box with 32 FC port, and attaching to FC switch and 4 to 16 initiator ports per host.

if sdzzz is representation for last block device, then that limits me to 137 presented disk devices... (i do need a few for the internal system disk). .. that would be 26X26X26 - system block device(s) . .. .. if my math is correct.

So question is... can i get past sdzzz by doing some parameter and rebuilding the OS ?? I've found limited information concerning going past sdzzz ...except for subtle comments that i'm walking into the danger zone ??
