RHEVM : RHEL6.2 VM with any more than 2 Socket and 2 Cores fails to boot on RHEV3.1. RHEL6.3 is fine.

Maybe one we should be aware of.....

RHEVM version rhevm-3.1.0-32

RHEVH version rhevh-6.3-20121212

- VM RHEL6.2 kernel 2.6.32-220.13.1

VM boots to the point of UDEV and hangs, eventually kernel panic's.

- VM RHEL6.3 kernel 2.6.32-279.19.1

VM boot completes without issue.  Tested all the way up to 16 vCPU's.

RHEL6.2 VM works fine with any vCPU config on RHEV3.0
