    Security Enhanced Linux (SELinux) is a powerful, but often misunderstood security feature in Linux. Rather than try to figure out how SELinux can better secure a Linux system, some system administrators will just disable it.

     

    To help you learn about (rather than just disable) SELinux, we recently published several episodes in a series of SELinux tutorial tech briefs. These tutorials give you hands-on ways of learning SELinux, along with pointers to excellent reference materials produced by people like Dan Walsh, David Egts, and Sean Huck.
