Meet Ricky Santamaria, our Red Hatter of the Week!

Ricky Santamaria is our featured Red Hat associate this week.

In his own words:

“Hello, my name is Ricky Santamaria and I’m an Associate Technical Support Engineer (ATSE) at Red Hat Inc. Originally from Santa Monica, CA, I currently reside in Cary, NC. I recentl

y graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a degree in Computer Science in May 2011.



I’ve been at Red Hat since August 2011. As an ATSE I work within the System Management speciality group assisting customers primarily with Red Hat Network (RHN) Satellite, RHN Proxy, both Classic and

Certificate-based Subscription Management and Subscription Asset Manager (SAM). With these Red Hat products I am able to assist customers in deploying and managing a large number of systems with a

single computer. I love seeing customer’s reactions when they get that first hand experience of the ease of accomplishing an enormous task so easily with the power of Red Hat’s software.



Being young, I have a great enthusiasm for learning from those around me and am eager to apply this new knowledge to all the customers I come in contact with."
