Utilizing new programming languages and databases for RHEL 6

By now, many of you have used, seen, or learned about the new Red Hat Software Collections 1.0 that are now in Beta. (http://developerblog.redhat.com/2013/06/05/red-hat-software-collections-1-0-beta-now-available/) There's been a LOT of interest in them!
