Fonts missing for running xboard

I installed gnuchess and xboard both (I am using RHEL 6.10). When I run xboard, I get the message: "Unable to create font set for --helvetica-medium-r-normal--14-------,-misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--14-------,-------14------*-", after which the program immediately exits.

I installed every font package yum could find for me, of which name starts with xorg-x11-fonts-*. The above message is displayed despite that fact. Clearly I need at least one more. Can anybody help me here? Which font package should download, and from where?
