  • Missing symlinks for one particular repository

    Posted on

    Hi!

    I have problem with one particular repository on Satellite6.
    The directory for the satellite tools 6.3 repo :
    /var/lib/pulp/published/yum/master/yum_distributor/1-rhel7_base-v20_0-Default_Organization-Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux_Server-Red_Hat_Satellite_Tools_6_3_for_RHEL_7_Server_RPMs_x86_64/521707356.08
    only contains a repodata directory, but is supposed to contain symlinks to all packages included in v20 of the content view.
    v18 is correct, can find multiple symlinks like this in that directory:

    puppet-3.8.6-4.el7sat.noarch.rpm -> /var/lib/pulp/content/units/rpm/9c/8d950fb9d111913c93059e5442c7d76e4f69136ef41d4d0427900e46606ccc/puppet-3.8.6-4.el7sat.noarch.rpm

    This is the only repo I have problems with. I think I have published the content view the same way for every version and checking the "Force Yum Metadata Regeneration" checkbox does not help either.
    I have also tried to regenerate repository metadata for v20 of the content view without sucess.

    Do you have any advice how I can avoid this situation? I think I will create a new content view anyway, but any help how I can avoid
    this problem is appreciated.
