All producer threads blocked in "Disk Full" scenario

    Posted on

    Hi,

    AMQ 7.0.3
    Virtualization: vmware
Operating System: Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 7.4 (Maipo)
    CPE OS Name: cpe:/o:redhat:enterprise_linux:7.4:GA:server
    Kernel: Linux 3.10.0-693.11.6.el7.x86_64
    Architecture: x86-64

currently we are facing the following situation.
In a forced disk full scenario of AMQ we are observing that all JMS client producers are being blocked by AMQ as expected. As no more JMS consumer threads are available in the client applications who might consume messages and free up resources on AMQ this eventually results in a full stop of the overall application flow.

Is there any option to set a timeout for the JMS producers. We use timeouts on JMS consumers but havent found anything similar for producers ?

    Thanks and
    Regards
    Metin
