Creating RHEL7 Docker Container on Ubuntu 16.04 treated as Physical asset

I am trying to register a RHEL7.3 docker container via subscription-manager and it is getting treated as Physical Asset.
Host is Ubuntu 16.04 LTS running as a VM on ESX server and has vm-tools installed.

open-vm-tools                      2:10.0.7-3227872-5ubuntu1~16.04.1          amd64        Open VMware Tools for virtual machines hosted on VMware (CLI)

I have a developer account that has a registration of One physical asset. Any work around?
