Registering active subscription

Registered as developer, have subscription confirmed as actve, built a Hyper-V VM as per the instructions, Gen1, Server with GUI, Developer Tools however when I come to register the build and associate it with my subscription the system sits endlessly saying "Fetching list of possible organizations"?

Have I done something wrong somewhere because I cannot see/understand what exactly?

Can anyone shine any light on this please?
