  • AMQ Nodeport service not accessible from java client on WIndows 10

    Posted on

When having minishift or oc cluster up, it creates a new virtual host. The nodeport service for AMQ created within minishift or oc cluster up virtual host is not accessible from the java client on Windows 10. Could not even telnet to this nodeport.

When I try to telnet to this service nodeport, it does not connect.

    C:\Users\rak3d1>telnet 10.0.75.2 30001
Connecting To 10.0.75.2...Could not open connection to the host, on port 30001: Connect failed

Why does my machine cannot see this nodeport, even after opening up the ports from my Windows 10. But at the same time, I could telnet to the AMQ SSL route on default ports 443 without any problems.

Please can you explain why the problem is occurring and the steps to resolve it on Windows 10 please.
