  • unable to mount disks

    Posted on

    Hi,

I am on a RHEL6.8 box with three disks:
    sda - CentOS6.8
    sdb (xfs, 2TB)
    sdc (xfs, 2TB)

After logging in, I try to mount sdb1 and sdc1 but get this error:

    mount -t xfs /dev/sdb1 /scratch1

mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdb1,
missing codepage or helper program, or other error
In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try
    dmesg | tail or so

Anyone have a workaround for this?

    thank you,
    Karimi
