Does Redhat container has access to AWS redhat host repositories ?

I know that redhat containers have access to the hosts yum repos through hosts entitlement certificates . But this access isn't working in AWS hosted redhat7 instance. I was asked to register during yum install in the container. I use docker-17.06.2-ce (I know its not supported by redhat). Do i need to install docker EE to get this working? even after subscription, i do not see any repositories loaded. How can i fix this?
