  • Need Satellite 6.2.11 (released Aug 10th 2017), yet 6.2.10 ISO is only available.

    Dear Red Hat

We have a number of disconnected Red Hat Satellite servers. We are highly interested in creating new 6.2.11 satellite servers (we have one at 6.2.7, 6.2.8, 6.2.10 and only one at 6.2.11).

The only way it seems to acquire a satellite 6.2.11 (as I type this) install is if you happen to have the luxury of directly connecting a system to the public facing internet and attach the satellite subscriptions and install in that method. However, for a disconnected satellite, this won't work.

We noted on August 10th or so, Satellite 6.2.11 was released. However, as I type this on 8/28/2017, the "satellite" link leads only to the url of https://access.redhat.com/downloads/content/250/ver=6.2/rhel---7/6.2.10/x86_64/product-software, and if I manually type in https://access.redhat.com/downloads/content/250/ver=6.2/rhel---7/6.2.11/x86_64/product-software, in the address box of the web browser, it reverts (at this date) to the 6.2.10 version.

The Satellite installation documentation says to use the latest available version which (as I type this) is 6.2.11, but it's unavailable unless you connect a server to the public facing internet (which our disconnected servers can not do)

Is there any word on when the Satellite 6.2.11 ISO for download will be available?

    Thanks much,
    R. Hinton
