How to lookup datasource remotely in Jboss EAP7 ?

Please let me know if there are any ways to lookup datasource remotely in Jboss EAP7 ?

I am migrating my application from JBoss 5 to JBoss 7. In JBoss 5, we used to get database connection by passing datasource name, URl and context factory. But now in JBoss 7, I am passing only datasource name to get the connection.

Also, please let me know if this approach works well in a clustered environment.
