  • SELinux policy files empty

    Hi.

I had to restore/reset the root password of a quite fresh installation of RHEL 7.2. I followed this recipe:

How to reset root user password in CentOS/RHEL7

That didn't go so well, I'm afraid. The initial reboot after the reset hung. Now, when following this recipe:

Resetting the Root Password of RHEL-7

when loading SELinux policy I get

SELinux: Could not map policy file /etc/selinux/targeted/policy/policy.30: Invalid argument
/usr/sbin/load_policy: Can't load policy and enforcing mode requested: Invalid argument

The size of file policy.30 is 0. Don't know if that's normal. So is seusers, don't know if that's relevant.

Can anyone help me out? I'm out on deep waters, here.
