How to deploy the .rar archive

How to deploy resource archive(say wsmq rar file and its location) in domain mode also please suggest a good practice if any. In EAP5.1 it was directly deployed in the deploy folder.

There is a good explanation on how to define resource adapter in EAP 6.x in the following link https://docs.jboss.org/author/display/AS71/Resource+adapters,
but it does not say anything about how to deploy the archive file.
