Questions About Email and Messaging Configurations

I'm trying to connect my Facebook Chat account to Empathy on my Red Hat Enterprise Linux system, plus I'm also trying to connect my iCloud email account to the Internet Accounts Settings in Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

For Empathy, I'm encountering the following error message in the attached screenshot.

For iCloud email, when I input my iCloud IMAP/SMTP settings into Internet Accounts, the system just sits there and attempts to connect but never completes the connection. I've chosen SSL as the security method.

Also, my copy of RHEL didn't ship with an email client. What's a good email client that works with both IMAP and Exchange EWS?
