RedHat - Memory Leak?

I've noticed a strange issue with my recent RedHat install. I installed ReHat 7.2 Developer's Suite on my Asus laptop. Installation went through normal, and everything boots up ok. I have noticed though if I close the lid (I believe that puts it in Hibernate Mode) and just wake the computer over the course of a few days the overall speed drops very low. Videos on youtube will get choppy and when I goto power down the system freezes.
Now I can simply shutdown each night as an easy solution, but if at all feasible I'd like to address the underlying issue. It's acting like a memory leak but I don't see anything obvious, any suggestions as to what I can look for?
